Some days you just need something to hold on to.
No matter how big the waves get. Hope is never lost.
No matter what happens, no matter how scary; there is always hope.
Let T.S. Eliot’s words encourage you,
We must be still and still moving
Into another intensity
For a further union, a deeper
Through the dark cold and empty desolation
Even in the midst of that empty desolation, if we keep moving, keep looking, keep searching for a further union, a deeper communion, we’ll catch a glimpse from the Giver and our heart will cry out like Peter and say, “How good is it for us to be here!”
That’s the hope worth tying your boat to. That’s the kind of hope we all long for. And that’s the kind hope this world needs.
Today, hold on to hope.
